Partner John A. Robb, Jr. Retires

After four decades of legal practice in state and federal trial courts of Pennsylvania, Attorney John A. Robb, Jr. has retired from Robb Leonard Mulvihill.

In addition to Mr. Robb’s extensive practice of civil litigation and broad trial experience, he was also an approved U.S. District Court mediator, arbitrator, and early neutral evaluator.

Mr. Robb’s awards and accomplishments include a listing in the 22nd edition of The Best Lawyers in America, 2016 “Lawyer of the Year,” and inclusion in the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He has been recognized in Pittsburgh Magazine’s selection of Top Lawyers in America; The Pittsburgh Business Times Top Lawyers in Western Pennsylvania; and Philadelphia Magazine’s Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. He has also been designated one of “Pittsburgh’s Top Rated Lawyers” by Martindale-Hubbell and awarded its highest “AV Preeminent” rating.

One of the founding partners of Robb Leonard Mulvihill, Mr. Robb’s legacy is a culture of integrity and respect. Not only was his legal career successful, but his profound and thoughtful treatment of others was inimitable. He respected everyone equally, whether a business partner or adversary in court, and his character is woven into the firm he helped create.

Mr. Robb was an accomplished attorney, esteemed mentor and role model, and consummate gentleman, whose daily presence is missed. His retirement is well-earned, and Robb Leonard Mulvihill wishes him all the best.
