John A. Robb, Jr.
John A. Robb, Jr. is a senior partner at Robb Leonard Mulvihill who has devoted over three decades to litigating in State and Federal trial courts in Pennsylvania. Following his undergraduate degree from Denison University, he received his Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law where he received Appellate Moot Court Honors and was named a Fellow of the National Order of Barristers.
Prior to entering into his active litigation practice, Mr. Robb was appointed senior law clerk and legal advisor to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and subse-quently, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Robb has engaged in the intensive practice of civil litigation with vast trial experience in commercial litigation, business litigation, product liability, toxic tort, traumatic brain injury and catastrophic injury litigation.
He has litigated numerous insurance, insurance coverage and bad faith extra contractual cases.
Mr. Robb has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 25th Anniversary Edition of The Best Lawyers in America and has been named by Litigation Magazine as a Best Lawyer in Commercial Litigation. Philadelphia Magazine has honored him in its selection of Top Attorneys In Pennsylvania and designated him as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
Mr. Robb hass been recognized in the Pittsburgh Magazine's selection of Top Lawyers in America and The Pittsburgh Business Times Top Lawyers In Western Pennsylvania.
He has also been named to the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. Martindale-Hubbell awarded Mr. Robb the highest "AV rating." AV Peer Review Rating recognizes that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence.
Mr. Robb has been invited to lecture before the Pennsylvania Bar Association Civil Litigation Section and has seved as a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
In addition to three decades of trial practice, Mr. Robb has been active in numerous appellate proceedings before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Pennsylvania Superior Court, Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and the United States Supreme Court.
